Because the new Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel deteriorates quicker than normal diesel it as a relative short life. The bio content in the new fuel breaks down and oxidises which gives a source of nourishment for microbiological growth ( Diesel Bug) to occur. The fuel is also vulnerable to CFPP (cold filter plugging point) due to water uptake within the fuel.
If tanks are filled or fuel left in before winter then as the bio-fuel breaks down the ‘Diesel Bug’ is likely to proliferate during winter spoiling your fuel and severely clogging fuel filters in spring.
Using leading edge additive technology Fuel-Guard have specially developed the ultimate 3 in 1 ULSD Winterizer, this product was designed to protect your stored fuel over winter.
The product contains a unique fuel stabilizing conditioner, anti-bug biocide and a cold flow improver, this special combination will prolong the life and increase storage stability and prevent all microbial growth and fuel waxing occurring.
Fuel-Guard enhanced technical services have ensured optimum treatment rate for this cost effective additive.
Treatment rate: 1 litre will treat 200 litres of all types of diesel fuel.
- Delivery & Returns
The estimated time of delivery, whilst given in good faith, is not the essence of the contract. Fuel-Guard shall not be liable for consequential loss or damage, in respect of delayed deliveries due to any reason, and howsoever caused.
Upon receipt of payment, goods will usually be dispatched within five working days and by the most economical means available, If you require a priority service, please contact us for a quotation. Items sent by Royal Mail are subject to Royal Mail Terms & Conditions, most importantly, this states that delivery of items sent 1st or 2nd class can take up to 15 working days.
We are not always able to dispatch same-day but will whenever possible. If we are on holiday, orders will be dealt with upon our return, a holiday notification will be displayed on our homepage whenever we are away and providing you have registered the correct email address with us, an Auto-Respond email will be sent informing you of the situation
If a product is out of stock or has to be ordered specially, then dependent upon the stock situation with the manufacturer, and the location of the manufacturer (some being overseas), delivery could take up to 6 or 8 weeks.
For this reason, if any part of your order is urgent, we encourage you to contact us to check availability prior to purchasing, we will then check stock, and if necessary contact manufacturers and provide you with an expected delivery date.
All prices exclude carriage and packing at the standard rate of £8.50+Vat for delivery to all UK mainland destinations Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, IOM, IOW, Scilly Isles, and the Channel Islands will be charged at the rate of £19.50 + Vat per consignment with a weight limit 10 kilos this includes appropriate insurance to the value of the goods. It is recommended that goods are fully inspected upon delivery or signed for as unchecked. Shortages and / or transit damage must be signed for as such on the delivery paperwork, and notified in writing to us within two days of delivery. Claims beyond this period will not be accepted. Collections are not permitted.
Items returned as 'not required' will only be accepted if in new, UNUSED condition, with original, clean packaging and within manufacturers guarantee, all returns may be subject to a 25% restocking charge to cover our administration fees, we will not refund at all for any goods which have been used or soiled in any way. Items sourced to a customer’s specification cannot be returned for credit unless they are suspected to be faulty. All carriage charges must be paid for by the customer but we may reimburse these costs if the goods are faulty and within manufacturer’s warranty. Goods cannot be returned in person unless by prior arrangement. Returned items lost / damaged in transit must be claimed for by the sender.
